Our vision

Okikoo is a « next-generation » online search and advertising platform which will give advertisers – businesses and professionals – a high-impact low-cost platform to enable them to « profile » themselves and to present their products and services in innovative and creative ways – and to give the opportunity to their clients to provide feedback.

We have integrated an important number of unique features.

  • Inscriptions
    At the core is a complete and comprehensive database of all Swiss businesses, professionals, individuals and households

    The (business) database is entirely user-managed in that all the information (telephone numbers, emails, etc.) can be modified at will and information which is missing (mobile phone number for example) can be added.

    The quality of the database is ensured by weekly updates.

  • High Speed Search Engine
    Business searches can be made by entering a company name, a professional (e.g. Dr Dupont), an industry sector, a product/service, a keyword or a telephone number.

    Residential searches can be made by entering a family name or a given name.

    The search engine is “intelligent” in that results are presented by relevance – and not (necessarily) in alphabetical order.

  • Keywords
    Within the inscription we have integrated « Keywords » fields which facilitate search.

  • Route and Satellite Maps
    Once a business has been found it can be located on a unique mapping system showing roads or satellite view. Resolution is extremely high (1:25’000) and individual buildings or premises can be identified. A « Points-of-Interest » menu contains a database of hotels, restaurants, banks, sports facilities and much more.

  • Multimedia Advertising
    All advertising content is user-generated – whether it be text, photos or a video. Such content can be changed at will. For example a restaurant can show the « menu of the day » along with photos of the various dishes and a video of the terrace with its view over the lake.

  • Priority listing
    As with any search, it is important to be listed on the first page showing the results.

    The priority-listing feature allows a company to be listed in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any given region.

  • Ratings and Reviews
    More and more consumers wish to share their experience as a client – whether it be of a restaurant, hotel or beauty salon.

    The Ratings and Reviews feature allows consumers to note their comments on any business or professional in the database and rate the business with 1 to 5 stars.

  • Contact us
